From forged bottom ends to perfectly balanced top-end assemblies, Beertech Performance builds engines that stay composed at redline and ruthless on boost. No catalog shortcuts—every build is spec’d to your chassis, goals, and abuse level.
Avg. turnaround: 4–8 weeks depending on spec and machine work.
No mystery builds. Every engine follows a repeatable process with measurements, media, and spec sheets you can actually keep. You’ll know what’s inside—and why it was chosen.
Platforms we commonly support: Subaru EJ/FA, VW/Audi 1.8T/2.0T, BMW N5X/B58, LS/LT, and more. Have something odd? Let’s talk.
We map out use-case, fuel, target power, and supporting mods. You get a written spec proposal covering parts, machine work, and recommended boost/RPM limits.
Blocks and rotating assemblies are cleaned, inspected, and machined to the spec sheet. We record critical clearances—bore, main and rod, thrust, piston-to-wall—and keep them on file.
Final assembly is done in a controlled environment with calibrated tooling. You receive torque sequence notes, oil & break-in guidance, and recommended tune strategy for your setup.
We document most builds—case halves, rotating assemblies, and finished long blocks. When you book a package, we can send you in-progress shots as your engine comes together.

EJ forged short block, pinned mains and closed-deck solution, built for 600+whp on ethanol.

2.0T track-focused build with upgraded oiling, pinned crank, and balanced rotating assembly.

Turn-key long block with turbo kit mock-up and ancillary routing finalized before install.
If you don’t see your question here, include it when you request a quote and we’ll get specific about your platform.
Because every platform and goal is different, we don’t list flat pricing. Most forged short block builds land between a few thousand and five figures once parts and machine work are finalized. After your discovery call, we’ll send a written estimate with a parts breakdown and options if you want more or less headroom.
In select cases, yes—but we still reserve the right to decline parts that don’t meet our standards or don’t match the intended power level. Using parts we know and trust allows us to stand behind the build and avoid delays if something doesn’t measure out in spec.
Plan on 4–8 weeks from the time we receive your engine or core and have all approved parts on hand. Machine shop lead times and parts availability can move that up or down—we’ll communicate timelines clearly before you send anything in.
We provide detailed break-in instructions with every build. Depending on your platform and location, we can either handle the initial startup and dyno tuning in-house, or coordinate with a trusted remote/partner tuner to get you a safe calibration.
